I have over ten years industry and academic consulting experience. I have worked as a pharmaceutical market research consultant for GfK, NOP World Health, and Strategic Marketing Asia, and I have supported academic research as a statistical consultant at the University of New Mexico.
I have consulted all stages of data collection and analysis, including designing studies, testing research instruments, training interviewers, creating visual displays of data, and building classical and Bayesian statistical models. Most importantly, I help researchers to understand statistical results and to draw meaningful and actionable conclusions.
I have extensive general experience with advanced statistical methodologies, including hierarchical modeling, time series analysis and forecasting, market segmentation studies, disease mapping, spatial-temporal modeling, and the analysis of extreme values. I am a contributer to "Bayesian Theory and Applications", P. Damien, et. al., eds, Oxford University Press. I have presented at the Uranium Mine Stakeholders meeting at the Navajo Nation, showing the relationship between uranim mining and chronic disease on the Eastern Agency of the Navajo Nation.
I hold a MS in Statistics from the University of New Mexico, a MA in East Asian Studies from Stanford University, and a BA in Mathematics from the University of New Mexico.
